In 2004 we decided that the time was right to do the remodeling that we had been planning for years. We got the names of several contractors and builders in San Diego and interviewed six or seven. Then Ron Wiskus walked through the door, and we knew we had our contractor. One look at him and we knew that we could trust him.

Ron and his son Brad, and their posse of electricians, plumbers, and other specialists involved with Hawkeye Builders remade our entire house—every single room was changed in some way. We added a room addition to the extant family room, completely revamped the kitchen, remodeled every bathroom, replaced all of our windows, moved walls, re-plumbed the entire house, rewired much of the house, tiled the floors, and never batted an eye. Ron and Brad made the entire endeavor as pain-free as they could—cleaning up after themselves every day, never missing a day of work or leaving us hanging, always doing laudable top-notch work.
